Carolinas College of Health Sciences (CCHS) is a small two year nursing and allied health sciences college.  In addition to the nursing program, the college offers certifications in nurse-aide, phlebotomy, radiological technology, surgical technology, and medical technology. The college is a subsidiary of Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), which is apart of the Carolinas HealthCare System.  Carolinas College of Health Sciences is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).  The college is located in Charlotte, North Carolina.  CCHS is situated on the main campus of Carolinas Medical Center, which allows for great hospital exposure for the students.  There is an average of 450 to 500 students enrolled during a given semester.  The number of faculty members including part-time and adjunct is approximately 64.
